Growing up in a rural area, fresh and natural foods were simply part of life. I assumed everyone ate this way. But when I moved to the city in 1994 to study, I was introduced to highly processed convenience foods and a much busier lifestyle — changes that slowly affected my health in ways I never expected.
From 1998 to 2004, I worked in a stressful sales engineering role that often meant skipped meals, takeaway food, and very little time to care for my wellbeing. I constantly felt bloated after eating, but I assumed it was normal.
Years later, after the birth of my youngest daughter in 2012, my health challenges became impossible to ignore. I experienced severe high blood pressure, hospital visits, panic attacks, nutrient depletion, hormonal imbalances, and digestive issues that left me searching for answers.
Despite countless tests and medical appointments, I felt something was missing.
Everything changed when I began learning more about food, nutrition, digestion, and how deeply our health is connected to what we eat.
The more I researched, the more passionate I became about understanding the role nutrition plays in helping our bodies thrive.
That passion led me to study Nutritional Science and deepen my education in nutrition and wellness. My studies strengthened my appreciation for the powerful connection between food, gut health, digestion, hormones, and overall wellbeing.
Two principles inspired my journey:
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” — Hippocrates
“Good digestion and good health go hand in hand.”
Today, my mission is simple:
To help people better understand nutrition, support digestive health, and make sustainable food choices that nourish the body from within. Because health is not about perfection. It’s about creating daily habits that help us feel stronger, healthier, and more vibrant — one step at a time.
